Mail Stolen From Chambersburg Businesses, Found Discarded On Street: Police

Mail stolen from two businesses on Industrial Drive in Chambersburg between Oct. 23 and Nov. 6, 2024, was found opened and discarded off Redwood Street, police said on Thursday, Nov. 7.

The Chambersburg Police Department is investigating the theft of mail from two businesses located in the 110-130 block of Industrial Drive, Chambersburg, PA. The stolen mail, which was taken over a two-week period from Wednesday, Oct. 23, to Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, was discovered opened and discarded in a parking lot off Redwood Street.

The case remains active, and authorities are urging anyone with information about the thefts to come forward.
